DON’T KNOCK IT Right here in town, the Scarsdale Public Library is hosting a screening and discussion of Don’t Bother to Knock, a psychological thriller from 1952 starring Marilyn Monroe. Let’s just say that Monroe’s Nell, who works as a babysitter, maybe isn’t the best person to be watching a kid. The movie was short-listed for the American Film Institute’s best thrillers over the past 100 years; come check out what’s considered one of Monroe’s finest performances. 2 p.m.; Scarsdale Public Library; 54 Olmsted Rd., Scarsdale; Admission is free, register here.

The kids are alright?  Marilyn Monroe plays a babysitter with some mental issues.
