Scarsdale Adult School Spotlight

SAS is offering more than 250 fascinating courses this fall and winter. This one will have you in stitches–literally.

Basics of Bargello

Learn bargello, a type of needlepoint embroidery that creates vibrant geometric designs using vertical stitches. The name originates from the chairs found in the Bargello palace in Florence, which have a "flame stitch" pattern. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced stitchers alike, bargello is a way to create items that are purely decorative, as well some that are beautifully functional. All materials will be provided.

Four Thursday sessions, starting 10/31 and ending 11/21; 10:00 a.m.-noon; $160; register here.
