CITY OF DREAMS Head over to the Hudson River Museum for its Family Art Workshop: City Pop event. Together with your kids, design and assemble your own 3D miniature skyline using construction paper, markers, and more. That’s not all, though—another family art workshop will also be held simultaneously. Called “Black Pearls of Wisdom,” it gives families a chance to celebrate Black History Month by honoring the wise words of Black icons through collage art. CHEERS TO FRIDAY What better way to coast into the weekend than with a glass of Malbec in your hand? HARD-TO-BEAT EATS White Plains Restaurant Month wrapped at the end of January, but Downtown Yonkers Restaurant Week is in full swing through March 8th. Choose from 17 eateries, each offering a 2-course lunch and/or a 3-course dinner; lunches are $20 and dinners are $45-$55. Venues include popular dining spots such as Zuppa and La Bella Havana. FLOCK ’N STROLL Rise, shine, and go see some feathered friends at Rockefeller State Park Preserve. An expert from the Saw Mill River Audubon Society will take you under their wing as you walk around, making the morning fun for bird-watchers of all levels. Binoculars available for loan by request. Attack of the killer wails Enjoy Le Pompe Attack’s take on gypsy swing at Mt. Kisco’s Jazz on Main this Saturday.

POMPE IT UP Spicy swing music gets an exciting reinterpretation courtesy of La Pompe Attack, featuring Grammy-nominated Doug Munro on guitar, Albert Rivera on soprano and alto sax, Michael Goetz on bass, and Ian Carroll on drums. SCHOOL OF ROCKS Cross the border (not that one, just into Connecticut) for Science Solvers: Rainbow Minerals at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich.
